What is Core Parking?
Core Parking is basically an option in the Windows registry which only allows the computer to use 1 core when having a Multi- or more than one core CPU. This limits the potential of the CPU’s actual power. Say, if you’re opening a game it will only use 1 core to open it instead of spreading it to other cores or in other words distributing the data.

Steps:

1. Okay start by Pressing on your keyboard: Windows Key + R. This will open Run.

2. Type: regedit

3. Press OK

4. In Registry Edit, Go to Edit in the top mini toolbar and click Find.

5. Then in the Text box put this (Without the Brackets.) (0cc5b647-c1df-4637-891a-dec35c318583)

6. Click Find Next.

7. Once it find the Reg Key there should be 8 detailed boxes or text. Like this:

8. Find ValueMin and ValueMax.

9. Right click on ValueMin and click Modify.

10. In the Text box type 0 instead of a 1 in the text.

11. And do the same for The ValueMax.

12. To make sure that it is done in all the Profiles click Edit in the top toolbar again and click Find Next or push F3 on your keyboard.

13. Then do the same again to the others (ValueMin=0, ValueMax=0)

14. Restart your computer and See the Difference.

In the Filter bar again type [network.protocol-handler.external.ms-help]. Now, you are going to create another new Preference Name with an Integer Value. 1. Let your PC boot up completely before opening any applications.

7. Defragment your hard drive once every two months. This will free up a lot of space on your hard drive and rearrange the files so that your applications run faster.

8. Always make two partitions in your hard drive. Install all large Softwares (like PSP, Photoshop, 3DS Max etc) in the second partition. Windows uses all the available empty space in C drive as virtual memory when your Computer RAM is full. Keep the C Drive as empty as possible.

9. When installing new Softwares disable the option of having a tray icon. The tray icons use up available RAM, and also slow down the booting of your PC. Also disable the option of starting the application automatically when the PC boots. You can disable these options later on also from the Tools or preferences menu in your application.

10. Protect your PC from dust. Dust causes the CPU cooling fan to jam and slow down thereby gradually heating your CPU and affecting the processing speed. Use compressed air to blow out any dust from the CPU. Never use vacuum.

It’s applicable for all the reserved words in windows and DOS. Try it out..

My computer-(right click on)->properties->then go HARDWARE tab->Device manager->
Now u see a window of Device manager thengo to Ports->Communication Port(double click on it and Open).
After open u can see a Communication Port properties.
Go the Port Setting:----and now increase ur "Bits per second" to 128000 and "Flow control" change to Hardware.

Now, this tip will be very helpful for those who frequently install windows xp operating system.
Normally OS installation takes
around 40 minutes to complete, but through this trick you can now save 10-15 minutes. This simple tricks goes this way.

1. Boot through Windows XP CD.

2. After all the files are completely
loaded, you get the option to select the partition. Select “c”.

3. Now Format the partition,
whether it is normal or quick with NTFS or FAT
4. Once the formatting is completed, All the setup files required for installation are copied. Restart your system by pressing Enter. Now, here begins the Simple trick to save 10-15 minutes.

5. After rebooting, you get a screen where it takes 40 minutes to complete or finalize the OS installation.

6. Now, Press SHIFT + F10 Key -> This opens command prompt.

7. Enter “Taskmgr” at the command prompt window. This will open Task Manager.

8. Click the Process Tab, here we find a process called Setup.exe -> Right Click on Setup.exe -> Set Priority -> Select High or Above Normal.
Initially it will be Normal.

I never tried on windows 7 or vista but feel free to try.

1. restart your computer
2. when you see those things like Admin or users etc just press f8
3. category will be shown
4. choose safe mode
5. then choose windows xp or what OS you are currently using
6. some words will pop out but just ignore it
7. click on the account you want to get in to(no need for password on this stage)
8. go to control panel>Users

9. then remove or change the password you can also remove the password there.
10.reboot again and its done.

*If your on Safe mode you don't need the Admins password, you can go with out using prompting to a password then you can go directly to the control panel then users then remove the password and reboot, after that you don't need to do safe mode again because the password is already removed.

1. Let your PC boot up completely before opening any applications.

2. Refresh the desktop after closing any application. This will remove any unused files from the RAM.

3. Do not set very large file size images as your wallpaper. Do not keep a wallpaper at all if your PC is low on RAM (less than 256 MB).

4. Do not clutter your Desktop with a lot of shortcuts. Each shortcut on the desktop uses up to 500 bytes of RAM.

5. Empty the recycle bin regularly.
The files are not really deleted from your hard drive until you empty the recycle bin.

6. Delete the temporary internet files regularly.

7. Defragment your hard drive once every two months. This will free up a lot of space on your hard drive and rearrange the files so that your applications run faster.

8. Always make two partitions in your hard drive. Install all large Softwares (like PSP, Photoshop, 3DS Max etc) in the second partition. Windows uses all the available empty space in C drive as virtual
memory when your Computer RAM is full. Keep the C Drive as empty as possible.

9. When installing new Softwares disable the option of having a tray icon. The tray icons use up available RAM, and also slow down the booting of your PC. Also disable the option of starting the application automatically when the PC boots. You can disable these options later on also from the Tools or preferences menu in your application.

10. Protect your PC from dust. Dust causes the CPU cooling fan to jam and slow down thereby gradually heating your CPU and affecting the processing speed. Use compressed air to blow out any dust from the CPU. Never use vacuum.

How to: Make your XP start up a lot faster

There is a Startup Delay value in the Registry Editor that, when decreased, will make your XP start up faster.

To to this go to Start > Run and type regedit to open up the Registry Editor.

Navigate to : HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\ContentIndex and look for an entry named StartupDelay. Change the default value of 4800000 to 40000 and reboot for the changes to take effect.

10 Things you should do when your computer hangs up!

You are in the middle of doing your work, suddenly you realized your computer hanged up. But the problem is, you have not saved your work! Don’t panic! There is a solution for that! And you can surely save your file! Here’s how:

1. Click on “ctrl-alt-delete” keys.

The windows task manager will then open, click on all programs that you don’t need and end the task. You will see that all programs on your taskbar will close one by one. If this will resolve the issue! – then save! (tip# 1: if you’re working on an MS Office application, it will automatically save your file in case the programs suddenly shut down — tip# 2: always save your file at least every 2 minutes by just simply clicking on the “diskette icon”— its just one click!)

2. If it did not resolve the issue,

are there some users logged on that computer? If so, go to switch user (for XP) and log off that user, go back to your log on screen and log on again.

The reason the computer hang up is because if there are many open programs and applications, these retains in the memory, if it is too much for the memory to handle, it freezes! Another reason too the computer hang up is because if you are connected to the internet via dial up, and you are running too many applications and opening many websites. So I suggest, if you are multimedia user or a heavy internet user, then you are better off with a higher memory, at least 512Mb of memory.

There are simple ways to avoid computer to freeze or hang up:

3. Clean your history at least once a week

>tools>internet options>clear history. I normally set my history to “0”, meaning, when I restart my computer, it doesn’t save history pages that I have visited

4. Delete all internet temporary files

>tools>internet options>delete files (do the “offline” content too!)

5. Delete cookies

(some do not do this, but I do delete cookies at least once a week!) >tools>internet options>delete cookies
6. Remove unnecessary programs that you no longer use
they are just occupying space and memory! >control panel>add/remove programs

7. Do defragmentation at least once a week

>point the mouse to “start” button, then right click “explore”>right click the mouse pointing to drive C (which is usually the main system logical drive) >properties>tools>defragment now

8. You can also check the logical drive’s volume for errors

>point the mouse to “start” button, then right click “explore”>right click the mouse pointing to drive C (I repeat, is usually the main system logical drive) >properties>tools>check now

9. It is better to have only one user being logged on.

Even if there are many users, make sure the user logs off after using the computer, rather than keeping it logged on and you do the switching of users. Switching users is good as long as you don’t keep all users logged on—I think that is more logical

10. Always shut down properly the computer

3. Insert the mobile memory card into your mobile phone. Remember, don't access the memory card through phone at this moment.
4. Run FExplorer and open the following location C:\system.

6. Copy the file mmcstore.txt. and paste it to your computer. Now, open that file in notepad.
7. When you finished the above steps, you will find the password of that file.

Oh yeah! my lakers won the finals! haha! at first the celtics did a good job defending kobe and they really
make it hard for him, but guess what? Ron-Ron,Pau,Odom,Fish showed up and help the Lakers, I would say
its a team effort for lakeshow, the celtics did a good job from 1st quarter-3rd quarter and then suddenly
Lakers put up a fight, and stop the leprechauns.

I'm kinda busy now processing some papers on my school and putting up insulation and some other stuffs
at our house and my room. But I'll see to it that I will update my blog whenever I got a free time.Have a nice day y'all.

Yes! My Lakeshow split the series 2-1 with the help of D.Fish and Thanks to Rey Allen He just made another 2rd NBA record, NBA's 3rd worst shooting performance on Finals. Hope my Lakes can get 1 more on the road to Win the title. Go Lakeshow!

What a Disappointing lost from my Lakers a mojor breakdown on 4th Quarter. Series is Tied up 1-1
and Game 3-4-5 All will be held at TD Garden where all you will hear is "BEAT LA" chant. Some of
my friends call it a sick day after LA's Defeat, To avoid Office Bullies from Celtics Fans. My Facebook
wall is flooded with Celtics Fans and all I can say is Nice Game. Darn It,bet some of you might think
its just only a game and why bother to much on the sport' well that how sports people do, like me.
Anyways Goodluck to my Lakeshow tomorrow hope they can split the series 2-1.

Got Nothing to do' so I decided to look for movies to watch and stumble on this one from http://www.freefullmovies.net , thought this was corny but it turns out for me this movie is funny, just reminds me on things way back when I was 16-19 years old. I envy the guy on the movie after fighting for her girl and stuffs, which obvously I haven't done for my girl but that's over now movin' forward hope you guys watch this movie its quite funny.
